1. Information We Collect

Geotrade collects the following information to provide and improve our service: Account Information: When you create an account we collect your email address and password. We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it. Portfolio Holdings: If you use the personalized morning brief feature you may choose to enter your stock and ETF holdings. This information is stored securely and used only to personalize your experience. Usage Data: We collect anonymized data about how you use the app including which features you access, how long you spend in the app, and which events you tap on. This helps us improve the product. Device Information: We collect basic device information including device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and push notifications. We do not collect your precise location. We do not collect payment information directly — all payments are processed by Stripe and we never see your full card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for these purposes: To provide the service: Your portfolio holdings are used to generate your personalized morning brief and filter relevant market events. To improve the product: Anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most valuable and where to focus development. To send notifications: If you enable push notifications we use your device token to send you market alerts for events affecting your holdings. To process payments: Subscription status is tracked to determine which features you have access to. To communicate with you: We may send you important service updates, security notices, and if you opt in, product news and tips. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not share your portfolio holdings with any third party.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Portfolio holdings and account information are stored in encrypted databases. We use enterprise-grade database providers with SOC 2 compliance. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third Party Services

Geotrade uses the following third party services to operate: News Data: We fetch news from public news sources and RSS feeds to power our live event feed. AI Processing: We use AI APIs to generate plain-language event explanations and chain effect analysis. Event titles and descriptions may be sent for processing. We do not send personal information or portfolio holdings to AI providers. Analytics: We may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand app usage. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook tracking pixels. Payments: Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Neither Geotrade nor its employees can see your full payment card details. Each third party service has its own privacy policy and data practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing privacy@geotrade.app. Correction: You can update your account information at any time in app settings. Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from app settings or by emailing privacy@geotrade.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Data portability: You can request an export of your data including your portfolio holdings and account information. Opt out of communications: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. 6. Children's Privacy

Geotrade is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information please contact us at privacy@geotrade.app and we will delete that information promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending you an email. Your continued use of Geotrade after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
